TC Harrison JCB Celebrates Successful 3CX Showcase at Lake Y
TC Harrison JCB recently welcomed customers to a special demonstration day showcasing the all-new JCB 3CX Backhoe, bringing together machine demonstrations, networking opportunities and charity fundraising at the stunning Lake Y wellness retreat in Doncaster.
Hosted in partnership with Yorkshire plant hire specialist Plant-Fit, the “Beyond the Build” event gave customers the opportunity to see one of JCB’s latest machine launches up close and, most importantly, get behind the controls themselves.
Putting the New JCB 3CX to the Test
The focal point of the day was the new JCB 3CX Backhoe, a machine designed to offer customers a high-specification, cost-effective solution without compromising on performance. With a single, fixed specification and a starting price from £55,000, the latest 3CX aims to make ownership of a premium JCB machine more accessible for businesses across the construction, utilities and plant hire sectors.
Throughout the event, attendees were able to experience the machine in action, speak directly with TCH JCB representatives and learn more about the features and benefits of the latest model. The hands-on demonstrations allowed customers to put the new 3CX through its paces and see first-hand how it can support productivity on site.
More Than a Machine Demonstration
While machinery was naturally at the heart of the event, “Beyond the Build” was created to be much more than a traditional demonstration day.
Alongside the machine showcase, guests enjoyed a padel tournament, refreshments and the opportunity to explore the unique surroundings of Lake Y. The relaxed setting provided the perfect environment for customers, partners and the TCH JCB team to connect, share experiences and discuss future opportunities.
Events such as these play an important role in helping customers gain practical insights into new equipment while strengthening relationships across the industry.
Supporting the Lighthouse Charity
A key element of the event was its fundraising support for the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, an organisation that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families across the UK and Ireland.
Guests had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets throughout the day, helping to raise valuable funds and awareness for the charity. The headline raffle prize was a week-long demonstration of the brand-new JCB 3CX, giving one lucky winner the chance to experience the machine in their own working environment.
The charity initiative added an extra dimension to the event, supporting an organisation that delivers vital services to the construction community.
