JCB 3CX Sitemaster Backhoe

JCB have launched a new JCB 3CX Sitemaster Backhoe loader, designed as an affordable option for the next generation of business owners to hit the ground running.
The machine, which sits alongside the 3CX Pro and Plus models, will be priced at £55,000, making it an enticing options for new businesses. This will also be a fantastic addition for hire companies to expand their fleets in a cost-effective manner.
The machine is offered in a single high‑spec layout, featuring an air‑conditioned cab, six‑in‑one shovel with forks, extending dipper, return‑to‑dig and JCB’s Smooth Ride System (SRS) for improved ride comfort and load retention. Standard servo controls with loader‑mounted transmission control ensure easy, familiar operation, while JCB’s 3.0‑litre 55kW/74hp Stage V diesel engine delivers 440Nm of torque without the need for AdBlue. Paired with a four‑speed manual gearbox and a top speed of 40kph, it offers strong performance alongside reduced servicing, easy daily checks and lower total cost of ownership.
Hydrogen 3CX Backhoe

Once again pushing the industry forward, JCB have announced the launch of the first production 3CX Hydrogen Backhoe Loader. Designed for sustainability‑focused construction businesses, this groundbreaking machine delivers a zero‑emission solution without compromising on performance.
Powered by a 55kW hydrogen engine, the 3CX Hydrogen matches the power and torque of its diesel equivalent while operating on 100% renewable, zero‑carbon fuel. Rapid on‑site refuelling ensures minimal disruption, while full EU Engine Type‑Approval confirms its suitability for non‑road mobile machinery. To support customer adoption, JCB Finance is offering a three‑year operating lease with a service contract.
The result of more than five years of development and a £100 million investment, JCB’s hydrogen technology has been extensively tested with customers in real working conditions. Trials across power generation, Loadall telescopic handlers and the 3CX Backhoe Loader have proven the technology’s durability, reliability and readiness for the demands of modern construction sites.
Compact JCB Soil Compactors

JCB has expanded its soil compactor range with the launch of two new smaller single‑drum models, the VM58D and VM78D. Competing in the 4–8‑tonne class, both machines are powered by EU Stage V diesel engines, delivering low emissions, high efficiency and improved compaction performance for a wide range of applications.
Delivering between 81 and 138kN of centrifugal force, the new compactors achieve excellent results with fewer passes. They share a high level of component commonality with JCB’s larger VM series and are initially available with a smooth drum, with padfoot drum options to follow. A 55kW high‑torque engine with dual traction modes supports strong performance, while operators can choose between a canopy or an air‑conditioned ROPS/FOPS cab.
Positioned alongside the larger VM118D, VM128D and VM138D, the VM58D and VM78D have operating weights of 5.4 and 7.1 tonnes respectively. Both models feature direct independent hydraulic wheel drives without a rear axle, providing work and travel traction modes and the ability to tackle gradients of up to 60%. The low engine position improves stability on rough ground, while Stage V compliance is achieved without the need for DEF or SCR, helping to reduce running costs.
Single Drum Compactor

JCB is further strengthening its position in the soil compaction market with the launch of two new single‑drum compactors in the 12–15‑tonne class. Building on the introduction of Europe’s first 12‑tonne Stage V compactor last year, the new VM128D and VM138D join the VM118D to deliver a highly efficient and competitive compaction platform.
All three models benefit from a modular design with a high level of component commonality, supporting a truly global machine range. Initially available with smooth drums, padfoot options will follow, while centrifugal forces ranging from 256kN to 292kN ensure excellent compaction performance with fewer passes. An air‑conditioned ROPS/FOPS cab is also available, enhancing operator comfort and productivity.
Power comes from Stage V JCB diesel engines, with the VM118D using the 55kW JCB 430 engine and the larger VM128D and VM138D powered by the 97kW JCB 448 engine. All machines feature high‑torque performance with four traction modes, balanced hydraulics and up to 55% gradient climbing capability. Variable vibration frequencies and multiple amplitude settings allow the compactors to adapt to changing ground conditions, delivering clean, efficient and reliable compaction across a wide range of applications.
715 Articulated Truck

JCB has previewed the new 715 articulated dump truck, a compact two‑axle ADT designed to raise the bar for off‑road hauling performance. With an operating weight of 9.3 tonnes, the 715 delivers impressive capability in a highly manoeuvrable package, making it an ideal partner for a wide range of excavation and loading applications.
Featuring a 7.1m³ Hardox‑reinforced dump body as standard, the 715 offers a generous 12,750kg payload and is available with a range of tyre options to suit varying terrain and site conditions. Its compact design supports efficient loading cycles while maintaining durability and versatility on demanding ground.
Power comes from a proven 129kW (173hp) Stage V JCB diesel engine, delivering 690Nm of torque at 1,500rpm for strong performance and fuel efficiency. This is paired with an 8‑speed JCB auto powershift transmission with active torque lock, heavy‑duty ZF axles and differential locks, ensuring maximum traction even in tough conditions. With a top speed of 40kph and the latest JCB Command Plus cab and UX display, the 715 combines productivity, comfort and control in a compact ADT package.
Hydrogen G60RS Generator

Following successful concept machines across telescopic handlers and backhoe loaders, JCB is now bringing this innovation to the power generation market with its first hydrogen‑fuelled generator.
The new G60RS H generator delivers 58kVA of power at either 50Hz or 60Hz and is powered by a zero‑carbon hydrogen engine that meets EU Stage V emissions standards without the need for aftertreatment systems or additives. Designed to integrate with the JCB Powerpack, it can form part of a clean on‑site microgrid, offering a practical renewable alternative for off‑grid power demands.
Built on the proven Rental Series platform, the G60RS H shares the same robust design, control systems and dimensions as JCB’s diesel generator sets, making it immediately familiar to rental and construction users. Fully supported by JCB’s global dealer network, it delivers the same levels of reliability, service and parts availability, while helping customers significantly reduce their carbon footprint.
DualDrive Dumper

Dual Drive is coming to JCB’s 9‑tonne site dumper range, available in both front‑tip and swivel skip configurations. Designed to enhance safety and control, the new 9T Dual Drive delivers class‑leading visibility alongside one of the safest and most spacious cabs in its category.
At the heart of the design is a centrally mounted, air‑suspended seat that rotates through 180 degrees, allowing operators to always face the direction of travel. Using JCB’s proven heel‑click system, the seat, steering wheel and controls rotate hands‑free, reducing operator effort and fatigue. A seat‑lock inhibit system ensures the machine cannot be driven unless the seat is securely locked in position, while a new two‑speed hydrostatic transmission supports smooth, controlled operation.
The large, quiet cab offers excellent all‑round visibility, with HVAC services routed beneath the floor to keep sightlines clear, plus additional storage for operator convenience. Impact‑tested to withstand forces from a 20‑tonne excavator, the cab provides exceptional protection, while follow‑me‑home work lights help ensure safe entry and exit in low‑light conditions.
520X Tracked Excavator

Expanding the X‑Series crawler excavator range, the new 50‑tonne‑class 520X completes the Heavyline lineup alongside the 370X and 420X. Designed to meet the demands of larger‑scale excavation projects, the range‑topping model takes JCB into a new heavyweight market segment.
With an operating weight of 52–57 tonnes, depending on specification, the 520X can be configured to suit a wide variety of applications. Customers can choose between a 6.9‑metre standard boom for versatility or a 6.5‑metre mass excavation boom for maximum output, with multiple heavy‑duty arm options available. Bucket capacities range from 2.8 to 3.4m³, allowing the machine to be tailored precisely to site requirements.
Powered by a Cummins X12 diesel engine producing 298kW (400hp), the 520X delivers outstanding digging performance, with up to 279kN of dipper tearout force and 318kN of bucket tearout. A maximum reach of 11.8 metres, digging depth of 7.8 metres and dump height of 7.5 metres make it highly capable across demanding duty cycles, all supported by the JCB CommandPlus cab and intuitive JCB UX interface for exceptional operator comfort and control.
420X Crawler Excavator

The 420X crawler excavator is a high‑performance 40‑tonne‑class machine designed for demanding applications such as aggregate production, contract crushing, demolition, earthmoving and quarrying. Built to sit above the 370X, it delivers increased power, durability and hydraulic capability for customers operating in the toughest environments.
Developed to handle arduous duty cycles, the 420X comes as standard with the Earthmoving Pro Pack, featuring a heavy‑duty reinforced boom and arm and a 2.6m³ HD bucket — a 10% increase in capacity over the 370X. This enhanced front‑end structure allows the machine to move more material per pass while maintaining long‑term durability in high‑wear applications.
Available with 2.63m or 3.23m arm options, the 420X benefits from increased plate thickness, additional wear protection and larger hydraulic cylinders to boost breakout and lifting performance. Larger boom cylinders deliver over 940kg more lifting capacity at maximum reach compared to the smaller model, supporting the use of heavier attachments and improving productivity across excavation, demolition and crusher‑loading tasks.
