MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Loading and unloading of machines through TCH Lincoln
Ensuring depot cleanliness standards are maintained and improved where possible
Inspecting machines on despatch and receipt to ensure paperwork is correct
Assist with warranty parts returns
Control goods inwards and outwards
Control all contractors in line with Health and Safety procedures

INDIVIDUAL KEY OBJECTIVES

Participate in any other company related activity as required
To attend any training deemed relevant as necessary experience for the position
To keep Yard / Parts department clean and tidy
To maintain the principle that everything has a place and everything should be in its place

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

The yard is to be kept free from any litter/clutter at all times. Whilst this is everyone’s responsibility, it is a major function of this role to maintain cleanliness standards and promote them to others
Aid organisation within the yard, workshop and parts department under the initial guidance/agreement of the Service Manager.
Ensure no visitors (drivers, customers or other) are left unattended within the yard/workshop. All visitors must have justification/authorisation for being within our premises
Any collection/deliveries of machines and/or attachments must have legitimate supporting paperwork. Any suspicion of theft or unauthorised handling of goods which are the property of TC Harrison JCB must be brought to the attention of the Service manager or another manager within TC Harrison JCB
To ensure all activities are undertaken in a safe manner and in line with health & safety requirements
To assist other employees of TC Harrison JCB where necessary and where no conflict of interest occurs
To maintain a professional courteous attitude at all times and support the team spirit, not only within the Aftermarket, but within the whole company.
