Vp UK Forks Supports NSPCC and Environment with Electric JCB Loadall

Vp UK Forks has proudly introduced a remarkable addition to its fleet—a distinctive electric JCB Loadall. This special machine, the JCB 525-60E, was meticulously built from scratch by 36 talented JCB apprentices as part of the company’s Platinum Jubilee NSPCC Appeal.

Recently, the impressive Loadall was officially handed over to a leading specialist hirer of telescopic handlers. Vp UK Forks secured the winning bid for the machine in an auction organised during JCB’s Platinum Jubilee NSPCC Appeal. Adding a unique touch, the bonnet of the Loadall showcases a special vinyl wrap featuring handprints of 20 pupils from two Stoke-on-Trent schools.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Shayne Wright, Managing Director of Vp UK Forks, said: “The auction of the JCB 525-60E gave Vp UK Forks the perfect opportunity to invest in the great charitable work of the NSPCC while growing our fleet of zero emission machines. As a Group, we have committed to reduce our emissions in line with 1.5˚C global warming targets and to become net-zero by 2050 at the latest. Innovations such as the JCB 525-60E will be an important contribution towards that target.

The official handover ceremony took place at TC Harrison JCB’s facility in Derbyshire and was attended by Rosie Murden, NSPCC Schools Coordinator for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Murden expressed her delight, stating, “It is wonderful to see this uniquely decorated machine and the schoolchildren have created a brilliant design. We’d like to thank Vp UK Forks for their generous winning bid on the machine and JCB for its fundraising support over the last four decades. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and caring environment, and thanks to partnerships and donations like this, we can be there to help young people and families across the UK when they need us most.

Also in attendance at the handover was Robert Wilson, Joint Managing Director of TCH Group. Wilson stated, “The NSPCC are a great cause and we are proud to have TCH JCB involved in their campaign. We are happy that our depot in Derbyshire had the opportunity to provide the setting of the handover of such a wonderful machine.”

The introduction of the electric JCB Loadall by Vp UK Forks not only supports the NSPCC’s invaluable work but also aligns with their commitment to environmental sustainability. This remarkable machine represents a significant step toward their emission reduction goals and a greener future.
