About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our key national and regional accounts within the construction and machinery industry. You will be a trusted advisor, working closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best parts solutions, while ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfilment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify new national and regional accounts within the construction and machinery industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at construction companies, rental houses, and other industry players.
  • Identify and understand customer needs and challenges, including specific equipment requirements and maintenance schedules.
  • Recommend and quote JCB genuine parts and aftermarket solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals, exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new JCB parts developments.
  • Participate in internal sales training and development opportunities to continuously enhance your expertise.
  • Travel to customer sites and attend industry events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in parts sales, preferably within the construction and machinery industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of the construction and machinery industry a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Self-motivated, a team player, and possess a genuine passion for the industry.
