TCH JCB Support UKRO Festival of Rescue 2023
The UKRO 2023 Lincolnshire Festival of Rescue took place last weekend, which is an annual event held by the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO).
The event showcased some of the best talent that British Fire and Rescue teams had to offer, notably the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Road Traffic Collision Extrication Team winning Best Extrication Team. Fire and Rescue services competed against one another in various challenges, including trauma rescue and rope rescue in different locations across Lincolnshire, such as Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.
UKRO was formed over 30 years ago by members of the Fire, Rescue and Medical sectors with the common goal of advancing professional rescue operations. Every year, the dedicated team of UKRO volunteers, practicing professionals and retired workers join up for the Festival of Rescue to demonstrate their skills and share their expertise and knowledge.
TC Harrison JCB were thrilled to support this fantastic event by providing a Teletruk and a 220X machine from our Lincoln dealership to help illustrate the excellent services carried out by Fire and Rescue teams in the UK.
